Thomas Edward Lawrence, nickname Lawrence of Arabia, (16 August 1888 – 19 May 1935) was a British author, archaeologist, military officer, and diplomat. Revolt in the Desert (Ustanak u pustinji) was an abridged version of Seven Pillars that he began in 1926 and that was published in March 1927 in both limited and trade editions. Published by Jonathan Cape, London. This is the large paper edition limited to 315 copies of which 300 were for sale. This large paper issue is a superbly produced book in terms of binding, quality of paper used and presswork.
